Theophilus London has released a mix tape, Rose Island Vol. 1 as a free download. The collection features collaborations with A$AP Rocky, Big Boi, upcoming Producer Lunice, as well as covers of “Take It Off” by Pharrell Willams and “Dance Hall Days,” originally done by Wang Chung. The new material follows up the British rappper’s recent album, Timez Are Weird These Nights, which was released in April of this year.
Theophilus recorded most of Rose Island during Christmas in his NYC studio. In addition to the new material, Theophilus is working with the luxury shoe company, Del Toro, to design the official Rose Island Slippers. The footwear is modeled as the same slippers he wore while creating Rose Island Vol 1.
