Ellie Goulding’s latest video for her single “Goodness Gracious” is electrifying and an 80s dream. Shot in L.A., Ellie takes to the streets and beach in full-on neon, sequins and LED kicks. She’s demonstrated she has the flare for style and her latest video exemplifies that. Let’s take a look at what she has going on!
All of the video’s hues glow with a bit of Miami Vice pink, turquoise and yellow. Her first look is a sequined plaid bomber jacket to complement her somehow always perfectly messy, beach waves. She stays true to her athletic-inspired street style in her next look: a three-quarter sleeved sequined mini dress topped with a knit beanie. Nasty Gal is a great place to look for sequins, and Ellie opts for an iridescent ocean blue with a pastel beanie to subdue the shine.
One of her last looks is my favorite: sequin track shorts, a letterman jacket and LED light-up Nike kicks. Similar to her last video for “Burn”, Ellie has another dance party and her neon sneakers take center stage–as does her lit up skateboard.
Other details to look out for in the video is the glow-in-the-dark makeup and Ellie’s rhinestone statement necklace. Check out the video below:
