Happy Birthday, America! July 4th is just around the corner, which means no work, and plenty of beers, barbecues, and all things ‘Murica. While there’s plenty of ways to enjoy the long weekend, horseshoes, beer pong, swimming, fireworks, none of them mean anything without a perfect playlist to get wild to. Miley Cyrus – Party In The USA – Far from subtle, here’s a throwback to when Miley was still associated with Hannah Montana and Mickey Mouse, intend of popping Molly and twerkin’ without the proper assets.
Bruce Springsteen – Born In The USA – You could think of this as a prequel to Miley’s party anthem. Or, as a social commentary on the way America was treating it’s Vietnam veterans at the time. Either way, it’s become a must for the 4th.
