San Francisco-based duo, Cathedrals, have been gaining recognition with their track, “Harlem”, which just recently surpassed one million plays on Spotify. The duo of lead singer, Brodie Jenkins and guitarist/producer Johnny Hwin pursued their musical passions as both went to Stanford University unaware of each other. It wasn’t until years later that a friend brought the two together that Cathedrals was born.
Cathedrals recently played CMJ in New York City and just released their debut EP. B-Sides host, Pete Mar, caught up with the band when they played the Treasure Island Music Festival to talk about their formation and more.
