The lineup for Electric Daisy Carnival was just released. As one of the most influential electronic festivals in the US, the massive lineup is no disappointment. Featuring over 150 artists, the main headliners (you) will be sure to enjoy three crazy nights under the largest scenic stage in North America.
A few headliner to watch out for are Above & Beyond,Pretty lights, and Avicii. After a good while of not releasing new material, Avicii is back and he has a new single to get excited about. Prettylights will just en-capture you as they play live brass while mixing hip-hop, trap, funk and house. Above & Beyond is just a beautiful and euphoric experience every time they play.
The lineup hosts all types of EDM genres for everyone to enjoy; the only worry will be trying to catch all the artists without missing a beat. For all the DnB fans, Camo & Krooked are going to be tearing up the night. For the trance fans and for those that just like to fall in love at the dance floor, check out Cosmic Gate live. For your dose of deep funk- catch Duke Dumont. For a little bit of grime, Funtcase will make your hair stand on edge with his usual bassy dubstep.
If you haven’t had the chance to check out these semi new artists- you should. Galantis has blown up over the past year with single “Runaway” will for sure get a chorus going. Oliver Heldens will not only enslave you but will energize you with his amazing sets starring the newest deep electro. Snails, the canadian bass fanatic, features “snail” sounds that set him apart from all the other trap artist. Check out his mixes and you’ll know what snails sound like.
This year’s EDC will once again return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. As each year gets bigger and more money comes in, the more creative the venue becomes. This year, they are not only offering round trip shuttles but also, private charter helicopters as an alternative way of arriving to the festival. The dance grounds will also be offering lockers for a “small” fee of $75 for three days of storage. Other amenities are saved solely for those purchasing the VIP experience. A giant adult sized ball pit is being brought in this year along with an immense wall of outlets serving as a gigantic battery charging station.
As in past year, the festival will open its doors on the third weekend of June starting at 5 pm and will go on for 12 hours. Performers, interactive art pieces, and full carnival rides will be sure to sidetrack the dancers as they go from stage to stage throughout the nights. Even EDC weddings are being exclusively offered to the public at this years event. Check out the full lineup below and let us know what you think.
