Your Guide to Lights All Night 2015

FJ5C0134-1000x667Lights All Night is back as Dallas’ largest New Years Eve party.  If you thought it would end with 2015, have no fear- Day 2 also boats a lineup worth rallying for.  Here’s a quick rundown of the artists you do not want to miss.

Day 1

The festival kicks off at 6 p.m. on New Years Eve and Kill Them With Colour is a perfect way to ease into the night.  Make sure to get to the festival with plenty of time to catch headliner Hardwell on the Mothership at 8:30 p.m.  It is definitely not something to look back on 2015 and have missed.  If trap is more you thing, head over to Jauz at 9:15 before Salva then Baauer on the satellite stage.  However, it might be interesting to see what Thomas Jack plays following Hardwell after his publicly professed hate of tropical house.

Riding the high from Pharmacy’s June release, Galantis lands on the Mothership stage at 11:30 for a set that will have everyone singing along to songs they might not have thought they knew.  After Galantis stick around for Porter Robinson.  Forecast: smoke cannons with a high chance of confetti and one hell of a NYE.

Day 2

Override whatever hangover and get ready for the first day of 2016.  Don’t miss Dirty South at 8:30, especially if you need a little help rallying followed by Snails or Yellow Claw – both will be a sufficient pregame for Flosstradamus.

The toughest part of the festival will be having to choose between Big Gigantic and Kaskade.  Kaskade’s set is expected to include material from his new album as well as many of your old favorites from years past.  Big Gigantic always boasts an amazing light show and if you are a fan of Griz and Grammatik, you may just drop everything and start following them on tour.   Advice: don’t stress because either way its going to be a hell of a night.  Happy 2016
