VIDEO: INTERVIEW – Ohlayindigo Talk Origins, Moving To The U.S., New Music

ohlayindigoWhen the duo of Ohlayindigo moved to the U.S. recently, they were greeted with enthusiasm and a willingness to help by the local San Francisco music community. Lead singer/songwriter Hanna Ponth is no stranger to moving around as she left her Norwegian roots to attend the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and developed Ohlayindigo as her alter ego. There she met another LIPA student Zak Shrapnell and found common musical interests, which led to the formation as a duo. B-Sides recently spotlighted their recent single, “Love You To The Moon” and met up with the band during their San Francisco debut to get to know them a little more.

Ohlayindigo performed “Love You To The Moon” for B-Sides and afterwards, spoke about how they met, the songwriting process and more. Check out the interview-
