Ringing in this Summer at Sunset Music Festival

What better place to launch festival season that at Sunset Music Festival this Memorial Day weekend in Tampa, Florida. The Sunshine state is prepping for two days of glorified dance music to welcome the upcoming Summer season or as music millennials call it, festival season.

This May 28 & 29, the Raymond James Stadium will be placing three gigantic stages on its field to hold over 45 electronic music producers. For its fifth year, Sunset Music fest will be sure to leave a lasting impression for techno, house, trap, trance and all other electronic music heads alike.

With the weather lining up for a good time, shiny outfits and creative gear will come out to play with big headliners and performers. Last year, the festival had a gigantic ice box for people to chill so the heat will be nothing to worry about. What will be hot are the dance floors. In previous years, this festival has not come in short with the artist lineup. David Guetta, Skrillex, Pretty Lights and other big names have made their debut here and this year is not falling behind. Headlining the first night are Hardwell and Gallantis followed by Jack Ü and The Chainsmokers consecutively.   

The schedule is out and the interactive phone apps are buzzing with excitement. Big names and new sounds are going to bring a hot and fun atmosphere to the festivities. MIJA, Anna Lunoe, Adam Beyer, Ferry Corsten, Snails, Seven Lions, Jauz, Sam Feldt, Borgore, Claptone, Bro Safari are just a few on the list that goes on.

Shaun Frank: This guy started getting out in the scene once he released collaborations with big name producers. Now he is part of a stellar line up with a disco-ish vibe that you have to try out:

Louis The Child: Chill and trap; thats the best two words to describe the duo from Chicago. They are the artist to keep an eye on given they have caught attention of Snapchat and MixMag as upcoming big name favorites.

 

Zomboy: His most recent EP, Neon Graves, shows how much variety Zomboy incorporates in his art. The flawless transitions make the heavy beats fun and effortless to enjoy. His single “Nuclear” has blown up across many stage in the past years. This mix comes through as well.

 

Jason Ross: The Anjuna beats family cannot be left behind. This is one of the new guys that remind you of cool summer afternoons when the fun and cute up tone melodies bring a familiarly new experience.Gorgeous vocals and excellent set ups are bellow.

 

The Chainsmokers: There to represent the sunshine state you have to see The Chainsmokers. Mostly known for their top 50 singles, the duo brings the Miami melting pot of sounds as they effortlessly transition from light disco to mixes of your favorite acoustics followed by trap and hip hop.

 

Lane 8: Trance and light techno giving birth to beauty. This is how Lane 8 creates the mix tapes that make ears feel at home. Daniel Goldstein has all new music and all new sounds that need to be heard.

Aryay:If you are familiar with HDY nation, this is the younger cousin that has gone through puberty. Arayay is vicious and the remixes go hard as any rep of OWSLA would promise.

 

Marshmello: No one is sure who is under that Marshmallo light-up head but one thing is for sure, he knows the name of the game. Marshmallow is fan of Drake, Dubstep, trap and hip-hop and thats all you will be reminded of during his sets. Also, he is anything but mellow.

 

Claude Von Stroke: First time seeing this guy was on a bus during Miami Music Week. Not knowing who he was I thought I had stumbled across the biggest secret there was until I realized it was the head of the the Dirtybird imprint.
