Tunes tunes tunes! Our Tunes for Tuesday on our Instagram story this week has three tracks that have been ON-REPEAT. Dua Lipa made quite an impression at SXSW 2016 and has been on a roll ever since. Starting out by recording covers on YouTube and Soundcloud, Lipa used her online presence as a platform to build a network, which led to her working with songewriter Marlon Roudette. Roudette inspired her to get some original demos together and it wasn’t long until Lipa would garner an online following. Her handful of videos have millions of views with her debut album due out in February 2017. Nashville band COIN is back with new music ahead of their sophomore album, also due out next year. “Talk Too Much” is the lead single and COIN frontman Chase Lawrence describes the accompanying video as it “highlights how much effort and thought goes into how we are perceived – yet, when it comes to our words, we spout off whatever feels right in that moment.” Another band that’s been hard at work on new music is UK band, Fenech-Soler, who recently released the title track to their forthcoming EP, Kaleidoscope.
