LISTEN: New Music ON-REPEAT – Jorja Smith, POWERS, Ginger Snaps

bsides-logo-cassette-repeatTunes tunes tunes! Our Tunes for Tuesday on our Instagram story this week puts the spotlight on great new music that’s been ON-REPEAT here at B-Sides. British talent Jorja Smith, has been performing since a young age, having started writing songs at age 11. Smith has a huge catalog of unreleased tracks as she only recently started releasing material in 2016. The track, “Where Did I Go?” is infectious and a great introduction to Smith, who is currently embarking on her first U.S. tour. Los Angeles-based duo, POWERS, is back with a new track, “Dance” that is to be included in their debut album, Alpha, set to be released in April 2017. POWERS told Billboard, “We wanted to kick the door down with whatever we decided to put out first to roll out this album. First impressions of “Phat Kids” by Ginger Snaps, a track that features The Organised Rhyme Family, lead one to think of old school material from Beck. Whatever the reminders may be, Ginger Snaps is on the right track and we’re looking forward to more material from the Northampton, England artist. Check out all the tunes!
