VIDEO: INTERVIEW – UPSAHL Talks ‘Hindsight 20/20’, Living in L.A.

Nineteen year old Phoenix singer Taylor Upsahl aka UPSAHL has always had music in her blood. Playing guitar and piano at a young age and her father being a traveling musician, UPSAHL was born to follow into those footsteps. Now the Arizona native is living in the music core of L.A. “I’m learning to live alone in the biggest city ever” says UPSAHL. She’s been an L.A resident for less than a year, which inspired her hit “Drugs” off her recently released debut EP, Hindsight 20/20. UPSAHL admits, “I wrote 200 songs in a year and 5 favorite songs are on the EP.” The recent high school graduate feels so lucky to be on stage and share her music. Before even graduating high school, UPSAHL wrote and released a self-titled EP, which gained much-deserved recognition throughout the Phoenix music scene. A graduate of the Arizona School for the Arts, a performing arts middle/high school, UPSAHL continued to hone her craft, while being classically trained on piano, guitar and choir every day.

B-Sides spoke with UPSAHL about writing her debut EP, adulting in the entertainment capital of the world, college parties, and more. Check out the interview:
