New Politics Releases Fifth Studio Album ‘An Invitation To An Alternate Reality’

Just two weeks before their North American “3 Dimensional Tour” with The Mowgli’s and Plain White T’s, Danish alt-punk/rock band New Politics (vocalist/keys David Boyd, bassist/guitarist Søren Hansen, and drummer Louis Vecchio) dropped their highly anticipated fifth album An Invitation to an Alternate Reality (Big Noise Music) the follow-up to their 2017 album Lost In Translation. The album is definitely an early present for the new month as November marks the band’s tenth anniversary since they formed in 2009. The record, produced by John Feldmann, which his work comprises of Good Charlotte, The Used, Panic! At The Disco, Blink- 182, All Time Low, and many more. The album has more of an infectious high energy spirit and was recorded in L.A. Singer Boyd states, “With this album, we wanted to give an escape to an alternate reality allowing everyone to interpret the music and lyrics in a way that’s meaningful to them.” New Politics describe An Invitation to an Alternate Reality as the most innovative and reflective album to date drawing back their rock staple experiences and new influences.
