ON-RADAR: Gracie Abrams Releases “I Miss You, I’m Sorry”

With the release of her latest single, “I miss you, I’m sorry”, Gracie Abrams continues a steady stream of new music releases from her yet untitled forthcoming project. The twenty year-old daughter of film producer and director JJ Abrams, Gracie continues to grow a strong following online that started on Instagram and Soundcloud. Her introduction to the world of music started early when she was eight years old playing the drums before picking up the guitar and piano. Simultaneously, she would write in her journal that would eventually translate into the lyrics that she would sing and record to post online. The emotive piano-based “And She Will Miss You” was posted four years ago and its theme of a fading relationship still resonates. She’s garnered the attention from well-known artists ranging from Billie Eilish, FINNEAS and Matty Healy to Lorde and King Princess along with numerous others. Abrams was to play some select shows in the coming months, but they’ve been put on hold due to the current pandemic. In the interim, Abrams is an artist to keep ON-RADAR.
