NEW MUSIC: The 1975 Drop Live Version of “If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)”

The 1975 dropped the single and accompanying live video for their new single “If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)”. The video sees the band return to their classic black and white aesthetic that was common during the era of their self-titled debut album in 2013. The video features the band all lined up against a white wall, while performing the track featuring two other musicians on backing vocals and seductive sax playing that adds an extra flair to the song. The upbeat track starts with a soft intro led by guitarist Adam Hahn as drummer George Daniel kicks off to cue the rest of the band into the song’s catchy melody. The song is topical in nature as it talks about an online love affair with a stranger as the protagonist eventually falls prey to her demands. As the lyrics go: “Maybe I would like you better if you took off your clothes.I’m not playing with you, baby, I think that you should give it a go.”  The song had been performed live at their recent European shows and will be featured on their upcoming fourth studio album Notes on a Conditional Form out next month via Interscope Records.
