INTERVIEW: Dusty Kessler Details The Making of G-Eazy’s New Video “Free Porn, Cheap Drugs”

Dusty Kessler is a Los Angeles-based photographer and videographer from St.Louis, MO. He’s worked with a wide range of artists and campaigns including G-Eazy, 5 Seconds of Summer, Bud Light, Budweiser, Heineken, Nars Cosmetics, Netflix, Stillhouse Spirits, The Contemporary Art Museum of St.Louis and The World Pediatric Project. His most recent work was being part of the creative team behind the new video for “Free Porn, Cheap Drugs”, the current single by G-Eazy. The video was shot during the shelter-in-place quarantine in Los Angeles and required some imaginative creativity to film within a one week time-span in a few different locations. The result is a visually stimulating, colorful video that takes the viewer on a road-trip from the open air fields to the city nightlife as G-Eazy sings.

Kessler broke down the video shoot and the thought process behind the video, as well as how his personal relationship with G-Eazy helped to achieve the vision for the video. Check out the interview:
