VIDEO: INTERVIEW – Baby FuzZ- Expect My Chemical Romance Arena Rock Sounds in ‘Welcome To The Future’

Baby FuzZ just released his newest single “Weekend Blues” from his upcoming sophomore concept album Welcome To The Future, due out this fall. It’s the first new material he’s released since his debut album, ‘Plastic Paradise’ that was released last year. Baby FuzZ is stage name for the producer and songwriter previously known as Sterling Fox. Fox was in high demand in the music industry having produced “Video Games” by Lana Del Rey and had written with and for artists like Madonna, Max Martin, Elle King, Avicii, Lana Del Rey, Britney Spears and countless others. The music of Baby FuzZ is sonically diverse with genre-exploration into folk ballads to punk anthems and everything in between. Lyrically, the songs of Baby FuzZ are a singular and hyper self-aware narrative with strong political and social undertones; something that comes naturally to the artist who moved to Canada after the 2016 U.S. elections. With a new album, ‘Welcome to the Future’ on the way, Baby FuzZ will continue to explore different sounds that includes the emo arena rock from My Chemical Romance and the like.

B-Sides host Pete Mar spoke with Baby FuzZ about writing the new material for ‘Welcome to the Future’, the continuing influence of social and political issues in his music and more. Check out the interview:
