Surfaces is the musical duo of Colin Padalecki and Forrest Frank, whose alluring blend of jazz, pop, soul, hip-hop, and reggae has garnered them millions of streams across all platforms. In high school Colin worked with his cousin, singer Alexa Padalecki. As he began studying at Texas A&M, he continued making music and self-releasing it online. This caught recent Baylor graduate Forrest Frank’s attention, who reached out to Colin and asked if he’d be interested in making music on his houseboat.

The rest is history. By December 2017, they were releasing their first album Surf under the moniker Surfaces. They found ild success with the third song on the record, “24/7/365”, raking in over 70 million streams since its release. But in 2020 the Surfaces boys really took off, performing their song “Sunday best” from their third album on Late Night with Seth Meyers. The song eventually peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 100 that June. They’ve even worked with with Elton John on the track “Learn to Fly”.
