The Warning released their new full-length album, ‘Keep Me Fed’ this past June amidst much anticipation by fans worldwide. The fourth studio album from the rock sister-trio looked towards other producers to help record the album and new inspiration. The band commented, “This new album is the result of our rawest emotions and most meaningful connections with people we’ve gotten to know and work with these past few years. We’re incredibly proud of this music and we can’t wait for you to make it yours. From our hearts to you, this is Keep Me Fed.”
Noting how some of the material spawned from ideas during quarantine, they challenged themselves to write more frequently, especially between tours. Dany Villarreal referenced how they expanded their close circle, “we got to discover so many new aspects of songwriting this time around because of that openness and musically I think we tried a lot of different things as well.” More recently, the band recently released their collaboration with BAND-MAID with the song “SHOW THEM”. After exchanging ideas and meeting via Zoom, the bands met up in Japan to work on it in-person. Dany and Ale spoke about working with the band and some of the challenges – “it wasn’t until we got to Japan and we worked on it in person which was honestly a very different experience because we have never worked with someone which we can’t communicate with you,” Dany stated. “we write a lot of songs in English but our creative minds and how we speak is in Spanish. All the process is in Spanish, so there were a lot of like cultural differences with how they speak English, and how Japanese people understand English….it was honestly really fun, it is a very different song from what we both do.”
