PHOTO REVIEW: Fleshwater Promotes Their New Album With Sold Out Show at The Echo Lounge in Dallas, TX

Metal-shoegaze band, Fleshwater stopped by The Echo Lounge in Dallas, TX over the weekend, completely selling out the venue. After touring with the legends in Deftones earlier this year, the band’s popularity grew massively. The band released their latest album, “2000: In Search Of The Endless Sky” early last month. The band stays devoted to their dreamlike grunge sounds while incorporating a clean mix of vocals and instrumentals.

The band brought alongside support acts that mixed elements of hardcore and experiemental metal: Houston’s very own, Balmora and Oklahoma’s, Chat Pile. Both bands brought a unique mix of energy and charisma that was utterly infectious.

Fleshwater’s set consisted of a good mix of fan favorites, “Linda Claire” and “Kiss The Ladder” and new songs including “Jetpack” and “Drowning Song”. Fans of all ages packed the venue from wall to wall. A constant wave of crowd surfers and mosh pits kept both fans and security on their toes. Overall, the moody instrumentals and grungey production blended perfectly with the vocals of both frontwomen, Marisa Shirar and guitarist, Anthony DiDio.

The band is set to finish their album release tour in their hometown, Boston, Massacusetts in early November.
