Pop punk icons and Bay Area natives, The Story So Far, packed out Dallas’ famous venue, The Bomb Factory, early this week. The upbeat tempo of their iconic songs mixed with the raw emotion of their lyrics was a recipe for fans to sing their hearts out.
The night was full of notable performances from Pain of Truth, Origami Angel, and Neck Deep. Neck Deep perfectly prepped the crowd, delivering, what the band calls, “generic pop punk” in the best way possible. Promoting their new self-titled album, Neck Deep delivered a performance filled with new songs and iconic oldies such as “Kali Ma” and “December (Again).
After an action-packed night, The Story So Far gave fans exactly what they came for. They opened with their first single, “Big Blind” off their latest album, “I Want To Disappear”. Being a fan favorite, the crowd was instantly hooked. Throughout the night, they delivered hit after hit: “Roam”, “High Regard”, and “Clairvoyant,” to name a few. The night ended with the fan favorite “Quicksand”, which left crowd surfers flying, fans singing their lungs out, and everyone off their feet.
After more than 10 years in the game, The Story So Far continuously proves that they remain one of the best in the pop punk scene and that their momentum stays anything but stagnant.
