Bay Ledges, the indie-pop project of Maine-born Zach Hurd, released his new album, ‘Rivers’ on August 16th, just a week after performing at Outside Lands in San Francisco. The album, partly written in response to the death of several family members is an enthralling reflection on love, loss, and change. Thematically, the new material is rooted in the themes of water, as Hurd worked entirely on his own at his former home studio on the Androscoggin River that runs through his hometown of Bath, Maine. Newly based in the Bay Area, Hurd finally merges his artist name with the internationally known San Francisco Bay Area for a new chapter in life and musicianship.
