Tame Impala have released the first track as a free download from their forthcoming album, Lonerism. “Apocalypse Dreams” is available as a free download for the next week and is the newest material since the Australian band’s critically acclaimed debut, Innerspeaker, which was released in 2010. The majority of Lonerism was recorded in France and mostly written and recorded by founding member, Kevin Parker. Lonerism is slated to be released in October as Tame Impala will play only a handful of U.S. dates prior to the release that includes Lollapalooza in Chicago and Outside Lands in San Francisco.
