VIDEO: Interview With Night Terrors of 1927 At Austin City Limits 2014

Night Terrors of 1927Night Terrors of 1927 came together as fluke of sorts, as the two friends Blake Sennett and Jarrod Gorbel wanted to explore parts of their creativity they hadn’t been able to in their previous projects. Sennett, had worked with Rilo Kiley and The Elected, and Gorbel, The Honorary Title, as well as a solo artist. When the two started writing together, things clicked quickly and organically and they formed Night Terrors of 1927, whose name is inspired by a phrase found in a journal by Gorbel’s grandfather. The band spent most of 2014 touring in support of their EP, Anything To Anyone and putting the finishing touches on their debut album, set to be released in early 2015.

B-Sides On-Air host, Pete Mar, caught up with the band during Austin City Limits 2014, where they spoke about their favorite hip-hop/rap music, collaborating with Tegan and Sara on the track, “When You Were Mine,” and more!
