Some may recognize Swedish artist, Elliphant, from her collaboration with Skrillex on the track, “Only Getting Younger” or “All Or Nothing” with Bunji Garlin and Diplo, while others may know her from the work she did with MØ on the sultry track, “One More”. The varying style of the aforementioned songs is demonstrative of Elliphant’s wide-ranging musical interests. Although she burst onto the scene in 2012 with the addictive, “Tekkno Scene”(which would be later used in the video game FIFA 13), it wasn’t until 2015 did she make her debut at SXSW. Coupled with her recent performances at the Mad Decent Block Party and touring with Charli XCX, Elliphant has built a loyal fanbase that’s growing exponentially and eager for what’s to come.
B-Sides On-Air caught up with with Elliphant during her visit to San Francisco to talk about her recent SXSW experience, rap artists, who she’d like to collaborate with and more.
