BabyJake released his new genre-bending single “MadHappySad” off his upcoming debut EP (via Republic Records) with an accompanying fun video game concept for the lyric video. BabyJake says of the song, “It’s about the feelings that come up when you’re with someone who’s probably not the right person for you, and they just make you feel all these emotions at the same time.” His ultimate goal in music is to “reach out to people and connect to their hearts the way my lyrics connect to mine. You don’t have to have the same experiences to have the same feelings.”
“MadHappySad” follows BabyJake’s recently released singles, “Confidant” and “Blue Cellophane.”
