VIDEO: INTERVIEW – Two Friends Talk Appreciation For Performing Coachella After Being Attendees Growing Up

Dance-pop duo Two Friends played Coachella for the first time this year, a festival that the two grew up going to and inspired the two to focus on a career in music. Consisting of Matt Halper and Eli Sones, grew up as friends in Southern California and spent much of their time hanging out focused on music as bedroom producers. Over the years, they’ve become one of the most in-demand acts within their space, with hundreds of millions on streams of their mixes, their viral remixes of The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside,” Blink 182’s “I Miss You,”, their award-winning Big Bootie Mix series and their very own bi-annual festival, Big Bootie Land. During their recent Coachella performance, Bebe Rexha made a surprise appearance to perform “I’m Good (Blue),” as well as “If Only I,” an upcoming collaboration featuring Rexha, Two Friends and Loud Luxury. Two Friends will kick off their own headlining tour ‘Planet Two Friends’ with Matoma, wuki, Justus Bennetts, DiscoLines, NOTD and others to be announced, starting off next month and into the summer.

Two Friends spoke with B-Sides host Pete Mar before their Coachella appearance about performing the festival after having attended since when they were kids, upcoming new music and more.
