Beginning as a touring event for Perry Farrell’s band Jane’s Addiction in 1991, Lollapalooza has evolved into an annual four-day music festival for over 30 years. Each year, the festival lineup is packed with artists from every genre! This year’s lineup highlights the biggest names in alternative, hip-hop, EDM, and rock. Headliners Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, The 1975, Odesza, and Lana Del Rey are sure to steal the show. Here are some of our favorite rising or lesser known artists that are worth catching.
Lovejoy – Thursday, August 3rd
Consisting of William Gold, Joe Goldsmith, Mark Boardman and Ash Kabosu, this multi genre quartet invites audiences into their nostalgic, detailed world. As a result of their strong relationship, their EP Wake Up & It’s Over is perfectly in tune and concise. Fans of the Arctic Monkeys and The 1975 would enjoy this UK band’s cheeky imagery.
Noah Kahan – Thursday, August 3rd
Vermont-native singer-songwriter Noah Kahan is known for his identity driven indie-folk pop. He gained success with his hit breakout single “Stick Season,” which he titled his 2022 debut album after.
Isabel LaRosa – Thursday, August 3rd
Following the fame of her single, “i’m yours,” Isabel LaRosa became the opening act for Nessa Barrett. LaRosa’s horror inspired music alongside the stunning visuals will bring exciting things to her set.
Franc Moody – Thursday, August 3rd
Electro-funk band Franc Moody make fun dancey music that takes influences everywhere from Spaghetti Western soundtracks to Lawrence of Arabia. Having opened for Nile Rogers & Chic the London duo have the experience and know-how to get the party started and keep it going.
Fred Again.. – Friday, August 4th
British producer Fred Again.. is acknowledged for his work with Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, and FKA Twigs. He released his solo album Actual Life (April 14 – December 17 2020), full of emotion to showcase his talent as a producer.
hemlocke springs – Friday, August 4th
hemlocke spring’s song “girlfriend” went viral on TikTok for its catchy chorus and distinctive lo-fi, bedroom pop sound. If you’re a fan of alternative artists such as Dreamer Isioma and Indigo De Souza, hemlocke springs is an artist worth watching.
Annie DiRusso – Friday, August 4th
Indie rock musician Annie DiRusso brings a vulnerable yet angsty perspective to the genre. Her latest EP God, I Hate This Place is an intense, vulnerable record meant to be played live.
Declan McKenna – Friday, August 4th
English singer-songwriter Declan McKenna landed in the indie rock scene in 2014 with his debut single “Brazil.” Fans of HUNNY, Peach Pit, and COIN would enjoy Declan’s energetic music and set.

Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI released her most personal album, Nicole, via 88rising Records late last year. The album highlights NIKI’s soulful sound to further her nostalgic storytelling. Her set would be great for lovers of reflective, thoughtful lyricism.
Maisie Peters – Sunday, August 6th
Maisie Peters’ powerful lyrics have captivated audiences since the release of her debut album You Signed Up For This. Her work combines heartache and self-acceptance into a blend of pop melodies.
UPSAHL – Sunday, August 6th
