Currently on an entirely sold-out three-month tour, Ivan Cornejo has had his passionate fans getting to venues early to get the best spot to see him perform live. The scene outside the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA October 12th was similar as attendees started lining up at the entrance as early as very early that morning. Cornejo emerged on stage to a sea of phones and deafening cheers as the crowd immediately sang along to every word as soon as he started to sing “Está Dañado”. The crowd continued to sing to every single song throughout the set from “No Me Quise Ir” and “Aquí Te Espero” to even his cover of “Hey There, Delilah” by Plain White-Ts.
