The final night of Billie Eilish ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ tour took place in San Francisco Sunday night and was filled with emotion and surprise. The sold-out show featured Eilish as energetic as ever, showcased a surprise appearance by her brother Finneas and the big news of the ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ Tour movie release.
Dressed in a black jersey and backwards baseball cap, Eilish emerged from a lighted cube above the center of the stage to loud cheers as “CHICHIRO” started. Dancing and running across the rectangular stage to overwhelming loud cheers and singing. The energy took was kicked up a notch as the thumping baseline of “LUNCH” played and Eilish jumped and danced along with the crowd. Acknowledging that it was the last show of the tour, Eilish spoke about how special it’s been, hinted at some surprises and to keep the energy levels up.
The setlist included a broad mix of songs from her earlier works to the latest album such as “when the party’s over”, “Iloilo” and “bad guy” to “WILDFLOWER”, “THE DINER” and “THE GREATEST”. Midway through the show, Eilish spoke about how much the tour and connection with the fans meant to her and referenced times of loneliness on the road when she was younger. It was a raw moment that led her and fans to tears as Eilish said she had suicidal thoughts but thankfully came through. The speech made the following songs “Your Power” and “SKINNY” even more powerful.
Later in the set, as had become standard, Eilish ran through the crowd to high-five fans with camera in hand. As she ran under the stage, the camera panned over to her brother Finneas, which elicited overwhelming loud cheers and screams. He would emerge on stage with Billie to perform “idontwannabeyouanymore” and “ocean eyes”, during which Billie credited him for her success and mentioned how she’d be back at work with him for her next album. After “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” was performed and confetti flew through the venue, Eilish and her backing band took their bows. The lights, however, remained dim as the big LED screens above the stage revealed the trailer for the ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ Tour movie that is slated to be released on March 20, 2026. The film will be directed by James Cameron and Billie herself. It was a special night where not only was Billie’s family was in attendance but her fan-family that made the night magical and fitting end to the tour.
