On May 22, 2025, Hippo Campus brought their Flood Tour to The Factory in Dallas, TX. The band’s lively stage presence spread throughout the venue before they even hit the stage as the crowd’s anticipation bounced off of the venue’s walls.
Kicking things off with hits from their latest release Flood (2024), the band performed energy boosters “Madman,” “Paranoid,” and “Tooth Fairy” before diving into their “oldies” section. Longtime fans jumped around and screamed all the lyrics to “South,” “Western Kids,” and “Baseball” from early albums and EPs. Paired with the classic closer, “Buttercup,” the set was packed with heavy hitters and displayed Hippo Campus’ natural evolution as a band.
Following cheers of “One more song! One more song!”, the band returned for an encore of fan favorite ‘Way It Goes’ from their debut album Landmark (2017). Percussion and trumpeter DeCarlo Jackson’s beautiful solo during the song left fans buzzing long after they left the venue.
