Lead singer of the indie electronic band The Naked and Famous, Alisa Xayalith changed gears as she moved onto solo work with the release of Slow Crush on April 4, 2025. Full of acoustic guitar, sentimental lyricism, and clear-cut vocals, Xayalith’s debut showcases a fresh side of the artist outside of the band. Her solo story unravels through the album with the doubt-ridden track “Different Light” to mellow yet evocative “What The Hell Do We Do Now?”.
