Jack Johnson has announced the release of his 6th studio album, From Here to Now to You, will be out September 17 through Johnson’s own Brushfire Records. Johnson has also released the first track from the album, “I Got You”. The follow-up to To The Sea marks his first new material since 2010 and was recorded in Hawaii at Johnson’s Mango Tree Studio.
Later this month, Johnson will preview songs from the new album with acoustic, invite only, shows in New York and London. Fans can register to win select spots on the guest list by visiting http://jackjohnsonmusic.com/tour.
Johnson will return to London twice in September where he will appear on the 8th at BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park, and on the 16th at the iTunes Festival.
