Melanie Martinez just kicked off their tour in support of her latest album, ‘Portals’ that dropped on March 31st. Bringing the concept album to life was a stunning visual experience in combination with the music as Martinez performed all thirteen songs off the album in order. Martinez and her dancers brought the show to a sold-out audience in San Francisco, CA at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, where fans were seen lining up in the early morning hours. Starting off the set with “DEATH” the audience shrieked with excitement as Martinez appeared on-stage. There was a sea of phones held up in the air for nearly the entire show as fans recorded the moments as a keepsake while singing along to “VOID” and “TUNNEL VISION”. Martinez performed in their character mask with four eyes throughout the full set, outfitted with gloves and bodysuit covered by a unique feather-layered dress. With the encore filled with the tracks that were added in the deluxe edition of ‘Portals’, fans cheered with approval as Martinez sang “POWDER” and “PLUTO”. Ending the set with “MILK OF THE SIREN”, Melanie Martinez delivered a visually entertaining show that enhanced the new material to its fullest.
