With the anticipation of four days of Bonnaroo magic, friendship and amazing music, the first day brought sunshine, sweat, and the electric energy only Bonnaroo can deliver. From early sets by Die Spitz, Sofia Isella, and Wisp to headliners like Luke Combs and Dom Dolla, the farm came alive with vibrant outfits, unforgettable performances, and even a surprise proposal in the heart of Centeroo. Spirits were high, and no one could’ve predicted what was to come. That’s what made Thursday, Day 1, all the more special.
With high hopes and a stacked lineup, fans showed up ready to brave the elements—fully prepared to trudge through Tennessee mud for the music, the community, and the chaos that makes Roo what it is. But Mother Nature had other plans.
After a full day of weather delays and dark skies, the festival was officially canceled late Friday night—just two days in—due to relentless storms and unsafe camping conditions. It was heartbreaking news for fans who had planned for a full weekend of celebration. But in true Roo fashion, Bonnaroovians made the most of it. From mud fights and slip ‘n slides to pop-up DJ sets around Outeroo, they turned disappointment into something uniquely memorable. Bonnaroo 2025 may have been cut short, but the spirit of the farm never dimmed.
