Performing the second of two sold-out shows in San Francisco, Dua Lipa was on-point with both her vocals and stage presence while balancing it all with dance choreography. The Chase Center was filled with fans dressed up in sparkly dresses, skirts and all kinds of colorful outfits, fitting for the spectacle that is part of a Dua Lipa show.

Supporting her latest album, ‘Radical Optimism’, Dua Lipa was engaging right from the very first note of “Training Season” that kicked off the show and soon enough by the third song, “One Kiss” did the crowd kick it up a notch when it came to dancing along. Before long, Dua Lipa and her band would set up at the end of the catwalk to perform what Dua would say is one of her favorite tracks, “These Walls” from the new album. As has become tradition for Dua, it came time for the moment for her to cover a song meaningful to the local area and fans were totally surprised when she introduced Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day to join her on-stage. The pair performed “Wake Me Up When September Ends” from ‘American Idiot’, an album that she preceded with explaining how she would listen to the album on the CD walkman as a youth. Phones were up in the air with lights on and fans singing and swaying along with the song, who cheered and yelled when Armstrong shouted out “San Francisco!”

The set reached another level as Dua performed “Physical” and “Electricity” that kept people on their feet. Her vocals were strong throughout the show, as well as her energy during “Be the One” and “Don’t Start Now”. Wrapping up the night with “Houdini”, it goes without saying that Dua Lipa put on a balanced and entertaining show that was just as interactive as it was a spectacle to enjoy.
