Currently on the North American leg of their From the Pyre tour, The Last Dinner Party made their way to Nashville on June 10 for a performance at the city’s newest venue, The Pinnacle. From the moment they stepped on stage, it was clear the band was excited to be in Music City.
Before the show, a few members reportedly found themselves caught up in the excitement of Broadway. Front woman Abigail Morris shared with the crowd that she had always heard Nashville was full of music on every corner, but never quite believed it until experiencing it herself. The crowd proudly embraced the compliment, cheering loudly and returning that energy throughout the night.
The band’s medieval-inspired stage design created a captivating atmosphere, while Morris commanded the stage with her theatrical presence, dancing and prancing across it with ease. Every member had a moment to shine, whether through leading vocals, instrumental solos, or heartfelt moments between songs. One particularly touching moment came when the band paid tribute to Georgia, who is currently recovering from a back injury.
The crowd brought its own surprises. At one point, a fan tossed an empty shooter bottle onto the stage, earning a disappointed laugh from the band. When another shooter soon followed, Morris decided to embrace the chaos and took the shot of Fireball, much to the audience’s delight.
As evening wound down with “Nothing Matters,” during which the band asked fans to put their phones away and simply be present. Thousands obliged, creating a rare and genuine moment of connection. For a few minutes, no screens stood between the audience and the music—just a room full of people living completely in the moment.
