Dublin-born Los Angeles-based artist Levi Evans entered the music scene at an early age through songwriting and experimenting with production. His first US tour was in 2023 where he opened for little image on their Self Titled tour. His latest and third single of the year, “Mile High,” is an upbeat ode to appreciating life’s positives. Gearing up for more shows later this fall, Evans focuses on honing his creativity and embracing all music has to offer. “We have a stacked calendar of releases. We’re going to the next EP which is right now called Idling Outside,” Evans says. “It’s a six song EP. Maybe seven, but we’ll see. And then working on the next project already.”
Levi Evans spoke with B-Sides host Pete Mar about how moving around as a youth from Ireland to New York and Los Angeles exposed him to a wide variety of artists that eventually inform his sound. He talks about gravitating towards hip-hop and joining a hip-hop collective and now expanding as a solo artist in the alternative rock/pop space.
