It’s Art Basel week in South Florida
Staged annually in Basel, Switzerland; Miami Beach, Florida; and Hong Kong, the premier international art fair, Art Basel, will be taking over South Florida all week long. Selling the works of established and emerging artists, thousands of art enthusiasts will flock to explore the newest trends in art, fashion and music. South beach and downtown Miami will transform into an art mecca as every gallery, museum, venue, restaurant, and bar hosts their own unique art themed event. With hundreds of events ranging from luxurious art shows to warehouse raves, we’ve put together our favorite shows to catch at this year’s Miami Art Week.

Wednesday, Dec 4th
Dubfire presents CODE @1800Lucky ($20-$30)
CODE is the new concept from visionary dance music artist Ali Shirazinia, aka Dubfire; known for his production and remix prowess, momentous headlining Techno sets and audio-visual assault on the senses live shows (not to mention his pioneering, Grammy Award-winning, and chart topping success story, Deep Dish). CODE was launched at Art Basel in 2018 at Coyo Taco, in the heart of Miami’s arts district, Wynwood, making you walk through an actual Taco restaurant and into a back room filled with one of the best sound systems in the city.

Elrow’art goes to Miami – Kaos Garden @ Island Gardens ($45-$55)
After a massive, sold out MMW extravaganza, we’re back for Basel weekend bringing our fresh elrow’art theme — featuring a brand new collaboration between elrow, OKUDART & Paco Osuna.
Heart Festival Day 1 @ Wynwood Factory ($65-$150)

Raskatella 2019 @ Historic Virginia Key ($40-$200)
The event returns to the idyllic shores of Miami’s Historic Virginia Key to welcome worldly revelers and nomads for a 17 hour sunset to sunrise experience. Circoloco Miami (Space Basel Closing) @ ClubSpace ($25-$60)
Space Basel comes to a close with a very special Circoloco marathon! Performers include Seth Troxler, The Black Madonna, Damian Lazarus, BLOND:ISH, Jackmaster, Davide Squillace, Matthias Tanzmann, Jasper James, Kim Ann Foxmann. Event starts on Sunday night, 11:00 PM and goes on until Monday, 3:00 PM in the afternoon…..Might have to call in to work sick.
