PHOTOS: Governors Ball 2026 Brings Knicks Energy To Annual Fest Despite Challenging Weather

2026’s Governors Ball’s lineup provided the exact kind of whiplash that festival-goers know and love. From a Knicks game 2 watch party in the food court to a group sprint from 2Hollis to Jane Remover (and again from Blood Orange to Geese), crowds were energized throughout the whole weekend and prepared to take on anything thrown their way at Flushing Meadows Park in Queens, NY over this past weekend!

In true New York fashion, Rihanna, Cardi B, among other artists, were present throughout the weekend to support their favorite artists. Culture, Cardi B’s daughter, was spotted dancing along to Katseye’s late afternoon Friday performance and Rihanna was hanging with Jennie during ASAP Rocky’s set. Despite Saturday’s battle with rain that caused sets to shift earlier and others cut entirely, the range of electronic, indie, and pop perfectly captivated attendees. flowerovlove and wisp’s daytime performances provided a dose of girl power to start off Saturday. flowerovlove’s performance had the crowd dancing along to her infectious brand of pop as she stunned in a hot pink set. Following wisp, 2hollis had festival goers fired up as they were moshing and jumping throughout his set. The energy didn’t stop there, as hyperpop artist Jane Remover, followed by Wet Leg, kept the party going. As Saturday drew to a close and rainstorms loomed, Major Lazer provided one last dance for the crowd prior to the headliner, Stray Kids’ performance. Sunday prioritized relaxation, with Rachel Chinouriri and Japanese Breakfast’s lighter fare of pop music easing the crowd into the day. Both performed flawlessly, showcasing new music, and lots in between! Holly Humberstone and Geese are solid festival performers at this stage of their careers and showed it with sets that delighted crowds and had newcomers staying to see what the buzz was about.

Outside of these highlights, our team caught the full range from Slayyyter to A$AP, and Jennie to Snow Strippers! Gov Ball had a little taste of every genre, and I’m sure everybody went home with a new song or two for their playlist!
