We’re just weeks away from Lightning in a Bottle, one of the most unique boutique festivals, not to mention the original that laid the blueprint for others. This year’s musical lineup includes heavy hitters in the electronic music space with John Summit, Jamie XX and Four Tet leading the way. Psychedelic funk trio, Khruangbin is a major standout and headliner that cannot be missed, as is the duo of Magdalena Bay, whose latest album, ‘Imaginal Disk’ was a top favorite of ours from last year. The multi-day festival will be taking place May 21-25 and has multiple genres of music to soundtrack the event. Notable names include salute, Sofi Courtesies, the return of Claude VonStroke, as well as emerging R&B/rap artist Audrey Nuna and electronic artist Brijean.
Along with the music lineup that spans 6 stages, there are areas to expand the mind, and inspire community action with topics that include indigenous cultures, psychedelic medicine, climate change, love & relationships, healthy eating, and more. A trademark of LiB is its Yoga and Movement gatherings that are guided by leaders of motion, taking place daily giving opportunities to relax, renew, and refresh. Also returning is The Compass, where over 150 talks and workshops from world-renowned thinkers, visionaries, and creators bring people together to grow, and uncover new perspectives.
